This Privacy Policy explains what TradeFuse, Inc. (“TradeFuse”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use tradefuse.app and the TradeFuse application, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. TradeFuse is the data controller for the information described here.
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your card details directly. We never receive or store your full card number. We receive a customer identifier, subscription status, plan, and partial card metadata such as the last four digits and expiry.
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on: contract (to provide the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (securing the Service, preventing abuse, improving the product, limited analytics), consent (marketing email, non-essential cookies — withdrawable at any time), and legal obligation (accounting and tax records).
When you use an AI feature, relevant portions of your journal data are transmitted to a third-party AI provider (currently OpenAI) to generate a response. Only the data needed for the request is sent. We do not permit that provider to use your content to train its general models. If you would rather no journal data leave our infrastructure, do not use the AI features — the rest of the Service works without them.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We use the following processors and partners:
We may also disclose information where required by law or valid legal process, to protect our rights, users or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets — in which case we will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
Journal data and uploaded images are stored in Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest by our storage provider. Access is restricted to personnel who need it.
No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we delete or de-identify your journal data within 90 days, except where we must retain records for legal, tax, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.
We are based in the United States and our infrastructure is located there. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, which may have different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
We use cookies and similar storage that are strictly necessary (keeping you signed in, security, remembering your selected plan during checkout), plus limited analytics cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but strictly necessary cookies are required for the Service to function.
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Under California law you may request disclosure of the categories of information collected and request deletion; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Most data can be exported or deleted directly in the app. For anything else, email support@tradefuse.app and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity first. UK and EU users also have the right to complain to their local supervisory authority.
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
The Service links to sites we do not control, including broker platforms and Discord. Their privacy practices are their own; please review their policies.
We may update this policy. If changes are material we will notify you by email or in-app before they take effect. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
